Dandelions in a Vase
DESCRIPTION
There are few things more beautiful than a handful of dandelions in a blue handmade pottery mug. Dandelions are often viewed as a nuisance, but these little yellow pompoms are vastly underrated. They are edible, with medicinal qualities and attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies. In this painting, I have painted dandelions alongside other pathway treasures, fragments of old pottery. I try to see the beauty in imperfection.
DETAILS

Image size 14.4 x 10.5cm
