Fading Light
DESCRIPTION
‘Fading Light’ was originally painted in acrylics on canvas during the struggle to keep the steelworks at Redcar open. The palette I used epitomises the strength and resolve of the workers at the time. Unfortunately, the steelworks eventually closed but for me, this painting is a reminder of the raw, physical nature of steel production in the region, which was used in construction across the world for structures which include the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Here is a limited edition giclee print of that painting.
DETAILS
Signed and numbered out of a limited edition of 30
Image size 97 x 28 cm with white border.
Professionally printed using Epson inks on archival quality soft white paper.
Unmounted print delivered rolled in a cardboard postal tube.
