Tuning in

I recently explored the stunning Kynance Cove along Cornwall's South West coast. As I carefully descended a steep, rocky path to the cove, I spotted a small stream winding its way toward the sea. I paused to take it all in, listening to the gentle trickle and bubbling of the water. Closing my eyes for a moment, I tuned into the symphony of nature around me; choughs soaring overhead, the sound of distant cattle, and the rhythmic crashing of the waves. It was a blissful experience, helping to fully immersing myself in the present moment.

I settled on a rock to sketch an interesting section of the cove. As I did, I noticed a variety of rocks around me, including the striking serpentine rock that is found here, with its stunning blend of reds and greens. There were dogs swimming and children playing nearby, many of whom ended up with soggy shoes! It was a delightful hour spent in such a dramatic setting.
