In July 2013, I graduated from the University of Sunderland with a First Class Honours Degree in Fine Art. This followed a lifelong interest in all types of creative practice.
I now work as a visual artist and tutor in North Yorkshire, on the banks of the River Tees. I take my inspiration from the people in my life and places I have visited, communicating these two forms of influence through figurative and landscape images.
I am also inspired by artists from the Impressionist movement through the 20th Century. Favourite contemporary artists include Peter Doig, Anselm Kiefer and Gerhard Richter.
